Maison de l'eau - Parc Lucien-Blanchard

For those who like viewing small live animals, visitors are invited to discover the exhibition at the Maison de l’eau. Located in the magnificent Lucien-Bouchard Park on the shores of the Magog River in Sherbrooke, the Maison de l’eau also rents nautical equipment, including pedal-boats, kayaks, and even launches for fishing. Accessible via Cabana Street or the bike path, the park is located a short distance to the west of the Lac-des-Nations promenade. There is also a beach, a swimming area, outdoor games and picnic tables. The Maison de l’eau has a canteen where you can buy refreshments and souvenir boutique.

Parc Lucien-Blanchard is a veritable hub of outdoor activities. This large green area offers activities and services all year-round. Rightly regarded as one of the main gateways to the Grandes-Fourches cycling network. Picnic area, playground for children, beach volleyball, not to mention the public beach on the river, are some examples of services made available to park users, located in the heart of Sherbrooke. Beach is open from mid-June to the end of August, daily.
