La Cantonnière - Valcourt and region

Nestled deep in the valley of the Appalachian foothills, the Sentiers de l’Ardoise offers 57 km of picturesque trails between Valcourt, Richmond and Windsor. Grouped under the name of the Cantonnière network trail, these trails are mostly on stone dust. The Sentiers de l’Ardoise trails allows you to discover the J-A. Bombardier region. The Sentiers de la Vallée trails, a former railroad, offers bucolic landscapes. The Sentier de la Rive trails, along the beautiful St. Francis River will appeal to the more athletic cyclists. These trails are recognized by the Route verte no. 1 and Véloroute des Cantons.
